Graduate in Chemical Sciences and Oenology from the University of Cádiz and Extraordinary End of Degree Award in Oenology. Additionally, he holds a Doctorate in Chemical Sciences. His doctoral thesis, supervised by prestigious professors, focused on “The Flor Veil (yeasts) in the fine wines of Bodegas Sandeman”.
He has specialized in fermentation and completed doctoral courses in Microbiology and Analytical Chemistry. He has been a professor at the University of Cádiz in the area of Microbiology, and also a scientific researcher at the same university. His research works have been published in international journals. He was president of the Andalusian Association of Oenologists for 10 years (2014-2024).
He has been linked to the art of winemaking for more than 20 years and in October 2022, he joined the Williams & Humbert family as technical director, oenologist, and Master Blender
