Production: The rum, sourced from Guyana and Barbados, is first aged for 10 years in the Caribbean, where the tropical climate intensifies its contact with the wood and encourages the development of sweet and fruity notes. It is then transferred to Jerez de la Frontera, where it is left to mature for a further five years in the Williams & Humbert cellars, in casks that previously contained sherry.
The final stage of its ageing takes place in a historic Oloroso cask dating from 1935, belonging to the Williams & Humbert collection, considered the oldest and most comprehensive in the Marco de Jerez.
After decades of ageing Oloroso, this cask retains exceptional characteristics and nuances in the wood that lend the rum elegance, depth and a unique complexity. Finally, Dos Maderas 1935 matures in 16-litre glass demijohns for over a year and a half, a final stage that promotes the integration of aromas and flavours before it is bottled in a limited and numbered edition, designed to reflect the uniqueness of this one-of-a-kind rum.
Exclusive features:
Limited production: Each bottle is individually numbered, emphasising the unique nature of this edition of just 400 bottles.

The Brand: Dos Maderas not only combines the best of two ageing methods used in regions far apart, but also brings together two cultures. On the one hand, we have the rum-making heritage of Barbados and Guyana in the Caribbean, and on the other, the rich wine-making tradition of Jerez in Spain.
