Tasting note
Intense and complex on the nose, with a sweet character reminiscent of burnt caramel, toffee, coffee, toasted almonds, and spices, over a background of wood and vanilla, with hints of dark chocolate and coconut. When the glass is gently swirled, subtle citrus notes begin to emerge, mainly kimchi and orange peel, with a final touch similar to iodine.
From the first aroma to the last sip, each nuance of this rum tells a story of crossed oceans and connected cultures, a long journey that begins in Asia and continues in the Marco de Jerez to offer this exceptional rum, with seductive notes of sweet spices, toasted caramel, and dried fruits, wrapped in a silky texture. A limited edition, only 4,000 bottles available for those who value character and know how to enjoy the authentic, unique pieces for flavor explorers and character collectors.

Serving Suggestions
With its balanced notes of fruit and spices, it’s a very versatile rum for mixing in cocktails, but it’s also enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
Supplementary information
Elaboración: DOS MADERAS ORIGEN inaugurates with Thailand a new saga of limited annual editions, which will bring the best rums in the world to Jerez to age in our centuries-old casks. With this unique series, Williams & Humbert applies the same technique as with the rest of its rums in the Dos Maderas range: REVERSE FINISHING. Or what is the same, the art of finishing where others begin. We bring these rums from their place of origin to continue their aging in our legendary wineries. Our centuries-old sherry casks, the unique and singular environment of the Marco de Jerez and the facilities of the historic Williams & Humbert wineries, are the keys to a process from which these exclusive rums are born.
The Brand: Dos Maderas not only combines the best of two aging methods used in very distant corners, but also unites two cultures. On one hand, we have the rum heritage of Barbados and Guyana in the Caribbean, and on the other, the rich wine tradition of Jerez in Spain.
