Sweet oloroso wine with a mahogany color and aromas of dried fruits, walnuts, and a slight hint of raisins and caramelized sugar. On the palate, it is smooth, velvety, very warm due to its alcohol content, with a persistent aftertaste.

Pairs well with dried fruits, blue cheese, soft cheese, foie gras, meat, spicy dishes, ice cream, citrus fruits, red fruits, and pastries in general. It is also an excellent option for cocktails, such as the Canasta Orange: Canasta, orange juice, mint, and ice; Canasta Tea: a blend of this oloroso with iced tea and orange, or the Canastito: Canasta, lemon-lime soda, mint, crushed ice, and fresh lime.

Serve between 12 and 14°C.

Production: Made from second-press must, Canasta is a blend of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez wines aged through a physico-chemical oxidation process, using the Solera and Criadera system, in 500-liter American oak barrels.
