Notas de cata Tasting note

Wine with an old gold and amber color, very bright. Pungent, intense, and complex aroma with slight hints of the fino it once was and dried fruits and hazelnuts. Dry, with just the right acidity, full-bodied and character, very elegant and persistent on the palate, extremely expressive retronasally.

Información Supplementary information

Production: Williams Humbert make a selection of their old fino soleras and biological aging vintages in their evolution process to oxidative aging. With this selection, they top up the soleras of Amontillado Jalifa. An amontillado that begins its oxidation naturally and ages for 30 years through the dynamic system of Criaderas and Soleras.

The brand: The origin of Amontillado Jalifa comes from Bodegas Antonio Pérez Megía, established in Sanlúcar de Barrameda in 1821. This amontillado was produced from the aged manzanillas of these historic wineries.
