Abyssal

Production: To create a vodka like Abyssal, of superior quality and exceptional flavor, the use of the most advanced distillation techniques has been combined with established traditional processes. The raw material is an Oloroso sherry wine subjected to triple distillation at 74° to achieve the highest possible purity. The stills used are the same ones employed for the production of the internationally known and award-winning solera gran reserva brandy ‘Gran Duque de Alba’. The number of distillations and the chosen method achieve the perfect balance between its origin, an Oloroso sherry wine of which slight but present notes are recognized, and the neutrality that a vodka of its extraordinary quality should have. Abyssal is as pure as vodka can be, but despite this purity, it has its distinctive flavor: rich, full-bodied, and complex, yet smooth and fine with certain spicy notes. With an exceptionally fresh and vibrant taste.

The Brand: Some Nordic legends and children’s tales say that the Vikings believed that the last Unicorn on Earth, harassed by hunters who pursued the magical and healing properties attributed to its beautiful horn, plunged into the sea and, from the deepest Abyss, emerged transformed into a powerful Narwhal.

Like the narwhal from the legends of these northern European navigators, Abyssal is born from a ‘magical’ transformation: that of a precious wine with Jerez denomination of origin, carefully distilled until it becomes a unique, pure, and singular vodka.
