Under the same Brand, leader in its category, a new Canasta aged for 20 years in the Solera and Criaderas system

Williams & Humbert launches Canasta 20 on the market; a new sherry the Bodega adds to its range of VOS wines. Under the same brand as the Bodega’s emblematic sweet wine, national market leader in its category, this new Canasta is aged for 20 years in the Soleras and Criadera system.

Originating in the ancient soleras of the centuries old Bodegas Williams & Humbert, this new sherry is aimed at the consumer lover of Canasta, who may now taste their favourite sweet oloroso with a greater degree of ageing. As Paola Medina, the Williams & Humbert oenologist, states, “Canasta 20 is an exclusive wine, as the number wines currently existing on the market of a similar type and degree of ageing are extremely limited. Its production process follows the same line as other special soleras of the winery. It is also a wine bottled “en rama”, only lightly filtered.”

Canasta 20 is presented in an exclusive format designed by Bodegas Williams & Humbert, in a 50cl heavy glass bottle of the highest quality and excellent materials, such as its vinyl label with high relief gold printing and a natural cork closure. “The design follows the line of the Williams & Humbert VOS and VORS wines, although in this case in a more simplified minimalist version”, states the Williams & Humbert Marketing Director, Miguel Ángel Medina.
